Vintage Market

Hi friends,

What a crazy exhausting fun weekend! My husband and I hosted our FIRST VINTAGE BOOTH EVER in the Buchanan's Vintage Market at the OK Fairgrounds. We met a lot of new friends and business contacts, sold some awesome clothes, and had a blast! We are POO-OO-OOPED.

The Parsimony Jane Clothing Anthology booth!

Thank you everyone who came by to check us out, take flyers, and support our dream! My absolute favorite thing was hearing customers excited about our great prices. I've had other vintage resalers "encourage" me to jack my prices to top dollar, but that's not what we're about. I love a bargain, and I know other people do too.

We're not in this to get rich, but because I love doing it and blessing other people with great deals makes me happy.

Simple.

I'm so impressed with the vendors who travel around the country doing this every weekend. Personally I feel like it's a heck of a lot of effort for a two-day show: after loading, unloading, setting up, loading, and unloading again I have decided we're never moving out of our 2-bedroom starter home because I HATE MOVING.

I'm a total nester; I like arranging and putting things on display, so taking them down and messing up my hard work - not so much. That said, the show was such a great learning experience and I'm so ready to keep pushing forward towards getting our storefront. All day long people were asking if we have a store and we got to share with them about the renewal of NW 23rd and Walker and our fundraising efforts. I can't explain how amazing it feels to have strangers believe in and be excited about Parsimony Jane!

Parsimony Jane's Kickstarter page will be open for a little over 2 more weeks. Please consider making a donation to our store fund: every little bit helps and goes toward important expenses such as legal fees, licenses, and store buildout. Thank you!
